and the whole "boo" thing is also sticking to your ideals. I suppose that a lot of what I say ends up coming out with a serious tree-hugger bent, but I didn't necessarily mean just environmental ideals, I meant pretty much everything... and you can stick to whatever it is you idealize without always following the system... and yes, there are bizarre non-system groups on all ends/branches of the spectrum, from neonazi skinhead communes to hippy colonies, they all exist... so it's not like there's no way to succeed outside of the system...

anyway... yeah, that's all. my head hurts, I need a break from computers now.

Main terminal: Specifications on "Waverider mode"

Yep same deal as last time.

Well enough with these vehicles that cause no mass destruction it is time to start talking about some real firepower. Grand Arms Panzer's next mode is what the Japanese would call "Waverider mode" basically it is a mode were the mecha can both travel from an atmosphere into space and vice versa. Think of it as a craft capable of being a airplane or a spaceship without having to change engine configurations. As you know jet engines are air breathing and will not work in space, however rocket engines can work in both space and in the atmosphere. Grand Arms Panzer being a advance unit doesn't use either of these instead Grand Arms uses a advance "Slipstream pulse drive."
Yep another one of those weird pseudoscience devices in which anime is famous for.

This mode is used to travel very far distances in a moderate amount of speed. It is not as fast as "Burst mode" but the speed that this mode generates can be maintained for longer periods of time. Because of the geometery change needed to achieve this mode the weaponry is reduced by a large amount. To compensate for this this mode allows for Grand Arms to use the internal missle bays and pylons not normally accessable in the other modes.

    Now for the specs:

Height: 7 meters (Measured from landing gear to the top of Mega fixer cannon)
    Weight: ???
Power Generators: Cold Fusion Reactors, Alpha Engine, Beta Generator, Gamma Device
    Armor: Grand Armian variant PAnzer
    Max Speed: Mach 36
Max maintainable cruise speed: Mach 30
Max time cruise speed can be maintained: 3 days
    Range: Unlimited
Weapons: Mega Fixer Cannon x2 (Fixed in position) Heavy Vulcan Guns x5 (2 mounted on each forward mandible, and one mounted in the nose of the craft.) Missle bay x1 (Carries: Giga class missles x many (Tried and true missles that Grand Arms uses. All round good missile.), Thor class missles xmany (Long range missles that can hit a target far away.), Amaretsu class Reality Disabalization missle x14 (The most powerful ordannce that Grand Arms can carry, they destroy reality and therefore have to be used with extreme caution. They may not damage a massivly large areas like his other attacks but their power is devestating.) Micro missles xmany (small missles to soften enemies and to use to intercept other missles. Very quick and manuverable missle.)) Missle Pylons x6 (3 mounted on each wing. Each Pylon carries 4 micro missles)
Ultimate moves: Bye Bye Reality (Fires all the Amaretsu class missiles into a single point in space. This causes a rip in realtiy that will destroy everything in that area. Tear only sustainable for about a minute.)

Well that is all for now.

Warning Grand Arms Panzer specs, skip if desired.

There are companies that actually work towards ideals and strive to stay in that path. For example Mimmetics is a engineering company that only produces designs that are to be enviromentally friendly as possible. Their successes, how bout the Gossmar Condor the only manpowered craft to fly a mile, and the follow up to that the Gossmar Albatross the only human powered craft to fly acrosss the english channel. Their latest project is the massive, solar powered aircraft the Centurion. It can cruise at super high altitudes without refueling or maitenance for long periods of time. So you can follow your ideals as long as you want to look for people who are willing to follow their ideals as well. Sad note: The Centurion is being looked at by the Department of Defence as a observation craft for military purposes. Booo! I say Booo!

actually, Tooker's medications drove him over the edge... you ever wonder about those stats that say people on Prozac and other such drugs are more likely to kill themselves? It's true. Obviously not in all cases, but there is an elevated risk that someone who's depressed will commit suicide once they're on antidepressants. Ask his partner, she'll tell you it was the drugs. He changed once he got on his antidepressants, and spiralled even further out of control. Sure burnout is a nasty problem in the world of environmentalism, but it's just as much a problem in the corporate big-wig world too. middle managers and upper-corporate-ladder people get depressed, stressed and commit suicide just as much as those who try to fight the system, you just don't hear about it because what would that prove but that the system is wrong? and regardless of suicides, look at all the instances of heart disease and stroke related to the stress of working in those cookie cutter jobs, after selling out.

And... there are ways to live "outside the box" successfully and it all depends on your definition of a "crappy" life. Some people honestly don't care that they don't have much money... that doesn't make them homeless dirty bums. There are people who don't drive/own cars at all - and they're not all Amish. You can be happy and not rich, honestly. Or perhaps I see it that way because I've experienced some of those alternatives.

Anyway, your comment about selling out reminded me of something:
Inga Muscio, in her book Cunt (which is absolutely incredible, though I doubt some of you would feel comfortable picking it up) said the following:
There are two ways to make money in a capitalist, patriarchal setting:
    1. Fuck other people over faster and more efficiently than they fuck you over
    2. Whore

So... "selling out" ... "whoring" same difference. I think I've become pretty good at it... but hell, you are what you do, right? Whatever, I know ways out of the system... it's just that the system doesn't leave you much space to get out. If I had all the time in the world, I'd be growing enough vegetables to keep me fed for the year, I'd be baking my own bread and making jams and pickles... knitting and sewing my own clothes... but who has the time for those things that in the end help you feel like a more whole, happy person? the system is causing the problems, and we've created the system.

okay, I know blah blah blay system doesn't mean anything... but whatever... take it for what you think it means and we'll leave it at that.

alsion everyone starts off as a progressive individual..... then u get older, get a job, and start a family... its like a gilles duceppe interview i saw on tv where the interviewer asked duceppe about his student years as a maoist activist.... he said if ure not a communist at age 20 u have no heart, but if ure a communist at age 50 ure an idiot.... its like anything once the cares of the real world begin weighing heavily upon u ure world views naturally change and in some cases harden, ive learned its easy enough to be progressive when ure in school, living at home with no real cares or worries, but once u start thinking about starting a career u generally have to realign ur ideals with reality.... hating multinationals is all good and well when ure in school but u wont get too far in most careers if u carry that attitude ur whole life... who knows where ull be in 20 or 30 years, maybe ull drive ur kids to and from soccer practice in a giant suv, and ull survey the concerte landscape with a blissful eye and shed nary a tear for the last tree that they paved over in 2032... i suppose what ure talking about is really just the age old conflict between youth and the aged, between the hopeful idealism of the young and the unyielding pragmatism of the old, shaped by many years of existence in this harsh world... take a look at so-called "progressive" individuals in their 40s or 50s..... chances are theyre poor as hell and dressed like a bum, because theyve spent their entire lives working at some crappy hippy type job... for all their ideals the world is still a shit hole and getting worse, and whether they pay a premium price for organic food at their local yuppy grocery isnt going to make a damn bit of difference....reality has a way of grinding peoples ideals down into a dull nub, and most people deal with it by tossing all the notions they had in university and moving into a career for some big evil corporation or become a cog in the governemnt bureaucracy.... everybody sells out eventually, because theres no alternative... i feel bad for those hippies who never grow up, they either fool themselves into thinking they can still make a difference and strive blindly on in their struggle against "the man," or else they realize they cant do shit but theyve smoked too much pot to care.... take a look at the tragic case of tooker gomberg, its true he may have suffered from clinical depression, but u have to wonder what excatly it was that drove him into the depths of despair...

In a turn for the weirdly morbid go to this site:

And look under the disaster for "White mountain tunnel". You should see that 39 people died when a truck delivering margirine caught on fire and killed the people in the tunnel. Talk about margirine not being good for your health. It must be real because all the other disasters listed are real for example Exxon Valdez and Chernobyl. Well if there is a lesson to be learned today then it has to be not to mix jam and margirine together... Um, yeah... (Get it a traffic JAM caused the cars to be stuck and margirine caused the fire... um well... yeah)
