What is it? I registered for an account there, but I don't think it's working.

Not only is there actually professional soccer in Edmonton again (by the way, the home opener is May 30th, and tickets will be cheap, considering season's tickets are less than $300), but also soccer this Saturday (I hope).
I'm thinking Sweetgrass Field (near the rubber park) this Saturday (the 1st of May) at 2:00 (PM, unless we like night soccer.) Plus, its proximity to Dairy Queen and the BQB&G makes it a prime location. Invite more people if possible, I think we'd like to go beyond three-on-three. Give me a call beforehand for transportation, etc.

- speaking of grow-ops,
are you no longer inherently a "good person" if you have one?
alternatively, if you have a grow-op, are you a "bad person"?
not that I have one, just that my mom's discussing them.
in terms of insurance, silly, she doesn't want one.
She's a good person ;)

- *ahem*
The City of Edmonton Police Services has a "Green Team"
that goes after Marijuana grow operations in the city.
They also have a "Green Team" to do environmental projects.
Does anyone else see the irony in this?
okay, perhaps not "irony" but coincidence at the very least.
And they have a myriad other "Green Teams" in action within the city.
Could they possibly combine them all?
or would that create a conflict of interest? ;)

- That was a close one Macgyver - saving England by disarming a nuclear bomb with a tennis racket and 3 alligator clips... and with 2 seconds to spare!

- Ah, the wonders of hunting through one's basement (and wireless internet, which allows one to connect to the internet from one's basement and annoy the crap out of one's friends by using the word "one" continuously in one's post on one's message board.)
I found signed cards for Kevin Lowe and Jari Kurri from the glory days (not in good condition, but still worth about $0.35 each.) I found Hot Wheels ferraris and other cars I don't ever recall seeing before. I found those workbooks you have in elementary school with brilliantly mysterious poetry such as:
Write a poem about your special toy:
My name rymes with bed but it is'nt ed.
my couler rymes with gown but it is'nt crown
my ears size rymes with kig but it is'nt ig.
(spelling preserved for posterity)
Brilliant. The next Will Shakespeare. I also found, in case anyone wants it, an ATC-Frost class 2 transformer (the electrical kind, not the more than meets the eye kind.) Of course, I had no idea what it was when I found it, but Google saved the day, again.
Oh yeah, and I really appreciate the Family Guy quizzes bad HTML ever so much...
