- I sent an e-mail to that dude at ninjarage.com. I hate him for being so good, but I simultaneously worship his every pen-stroke. What a predicament. How could I NOT send an e-mail? Is he enemy or alliance? I can't decide. haha But the e-mail was necessary irregardless. A wise man keeps his alliances close and his enemies closer.
I think he'll laugh at that fanart pic I did for him... it's so shitty. haha I'm laughing just thinking about it. Oh mannn...
maybe I'm just laughing because it's 4:46 AM. Why the fuck do I not sleep anymore?

- The new Gameboy is going to kick your ass...!!! See it here.
But it's up against tough competition- the Sony PSP.
I dunno. Of course, I'm a die-hard Nintendo supporter... but this is gonna be a close race. Nintendo's seems infintely cooler to me, but Sony's seems like it has more processing power and their 1.8 gig/disc spec is definitely attractive for developers.
Then again, microphone support, bluetooth technology (not specifically mentioned in the above article), a PDA-style touch-sensitive screen, and dual-displays might just be innovative enough to be the next big-ticket handheld. I for one can't wait.

- For those of you who have followed F1 in the past couple of years, from TSN.ca:
"[Jacques Villeneuve] is also entertaining," mused [David] Coulthard. "If you tell him that a corner is almost flat then he is the guy who is going to try to take it flat, even if it means shunting it the other side of it. He will come with the data and say 'hey, I may have crashed and destroyed the car, but I was flat-out'. That is an interesting quality that he has."
I guess this explains the no-finish seasons he kept having. Well, I didn't finish a race, but did you see me pull out that corner?! Imagine the surgeon Villeneuve: "I may have killed every patient, but that incision was a work of art."

- question from the floor:
what are 'Geneva questions'?
I too was very confused about this for a while. But then I realized she meant Geneva as in the name of a person... who I gather was the person who previously held the job position.
auxilary statement:
dunno who Tala is. beats me.
Apparently she knows Eli too. Had a class with him or something... I dunno. But then again who DOESN'T eli know? So that's not any help.
secondary question:
are you sure it's Cara and not Claira?
Not entirely. Are you just fucking with me? Kuz if you think it's Claira you may be right, but if you're just fuckin with my head, then I think it's Cara. Watch it end up being neither.
closing statement:
way to go buddy, you're on Tony's Team now!
Who, me? What? What are you talking about? Tony? Help me out here...

- the whole 'Geneva question' thing made me laugh... once it stopped confusing me.
Geneva is my predecessor at ECOS, the one who had an incredibly maddening intuitive
understanding of things and didn't write everything down as a result (two years at the
post will do that to you). This, however, brings me into some glaring problems as I do not
yet have that intuitive sense of the position and do not have things written down to guide me.
So, in further explanation, asking Geneva questions is in the hopes of getting Geneva to answer them.
;)
wow, energetic kids can really knock the steam out of you.
It's a good thing I've already put in my 6 hours today.
I think I'll go home and have a nap.
