- Thanks, eric. I had a feeling that something like that would happen when I added the line 'May 2004.' I may have to change over the format of the board to something more frames-ish to keep that from happening. (Or, if I ever get around to learning PHP and ante-ing up for a server, I'll have to write a script that won't do that to me.)
Alison, already posted. Scroll past the coke bottle. There ya go. You're bonifate that I don't gumflate and sophronize you! (Huh?)

well, here's another link to the whole Bush comparing WWII to Iraq. please, why is the world run by idiots? He couldn't even keep a baseball team from going bankrupt, and now he's in charge of the most economically and militarily powerful country? what the hell is wrong with people? and they've managed to bend the Geneva convention so that American captors torturing Iraqui prisoners of war will not be able to be tried for war crimes. how the hell do you get away with that? and how do you even convince the UN that that's okay in the first place?

- I don't want to work.
methinks I'm going to not do much work today as a way to take up some of that "extra" week's worth of hours I worked last month... That and now that I've got my academic hood, I'm really excited. That's all I want - the hood, it's so cool! Forget the diploma and everything. It doesn't even say my major on it, I mean, woo hoo, Environmental and Conservation Sciences, I thought they would go into more detail. I'm sure the Land Reclamation people will be incredibly miffed...
And wow, Geers are an entirely different breed of people, and it really shows. I can't say that I'm not surprised, but I really didn't think that it would be so obvious. or maybe it isn't to most people...
oh, and you are not allowed on stage if you don't have a tassel on your mortarboard, weird, huh?

The funny thing about that picture in the post below is that you can tell from the development of her pubic-symphisis that this girl can't be any older than 18. See how useful those hominid-osteoarchaeology classes turned out to be?

- Why is it that when I'm at work and need entertainment like this, no one posts but me, but when I take a day off, it's post-city?!
For the uninitiated, Sparta. (not Greece) Alas, I cannot go. Mostly because indecisive family (so that's where I get it from) won't decide (go figure) whether they wanted to do something tonight. So, have fun guys, and let me know how All State Champion is. (Speaking of Sparta, we had an almost perfect front page of the 'Culture' section in the Journal the other day. Tragically Hip? Check. Sparta? Check. And, to cap it off... Canadian Idol?!?! Motherfucker!!)
Jere, I believe (actually I know, because I have the convocation program here), that Mar... sorry... maawy is sitting in the Jubilee for two and a half hours next Friday, not tomorrow.
Sure, Jack Layton's wearing a Flames jersey in public. But did he sneak one onstage to his convocation?!
Apparently, the War on Terror is just like World War II. Except, of course, 'World' and 'II' are actually monosyllabic. And the US didn't join in late this time. And they had the support of the world then. And they knew where to find Hitler then. And they didn't accidentally believe that the source of Nazi power was Algeria. But other than that, exactly like World War II.
Finally, Al, just a thought. You may want to spice up the bookmarks with banners, or funny quotes, or hilariously inappropriate jokes about penises. Or I bet you could make good coin using them to campaign for Rahim Jaffer or someone. Hell, I bet you could claim you were him! No one would be the wiser!

I gotta say... Andy was the real champion of winningest combinations last night. He proved indefinitely that the 480km/h flying machine was meant to be his by easily sweeping the push-up competition. I swear to you he did them with one finger!!! That man is a god.
