Well, I called my boss and told him that come september I will no longer be working full time for him. This is a good thing as I will have absolutely no time for work. I told him I would stay on at least part time, but I can't see myself working more than one or two shifts a week. But AD, why did you do that?? What will be taking up all your time?? Well mysterious voice, it is my pleasure to inform the present populace that come september, those "nice people" at Grant Mac have decided that I am worthy of being in their presence. ...so what's the catch then AD?? Unfortunately mysterious voice, the catch is fairly painful, but considering everything, somewhat of a joke. In their endless wisdom, they have decided that due to my probationary status, I will be taking all my courses out of the Mill Woods campus. Thankfully for me though, It's a joke of a busride from southgate. Furthermore, come january I can go downtown if I feel like it. That of course I'll decide later. I still havn't heard squat from the UofA, so until then, bugger them!!! It's not quite what I hoped for, but considering my circumstances, it's a pretty good outcome. The only problem I appear to have now is an odd craving for hotdogs...

Ed, as per our conversation yesterday...

yeah yeah yeah, i know, my Dad knows a lot more about the whole sausage/meat packing industry than I ever will, but compared to all y'all on the board, and what I know of your knowledge in this area, I know a little more about sausage making (and don't you dare try to turn this into some raunch sexual statement!) Still, my Dad was a lot less than likely to post on this board anyway, so it doesn't much matter what he knows on the subject if he's not going to share it anyway.
