- Ah, the brilliance of computer generated advertisements. On the same page on which Ann Coulter criticizes Bill O'Reilly for taking the middle ground (??), notice the ad on the left:

al id like to take the time to respond to ur post about hero.... i rented that movie a few months ago from alternative video and i just thought wow what a fantastic movie... i saw it with gary danny and simon and while they thought it was decent i thought it was by far the best martial arts movie i have seen, better than crouching tiger which for many at least western critics set the standard for the genre.... i found jet lis thoughts on on the subject very insightful when he said that crouching tiger uses martial arts to tell a love story, while hero uses martial arts as a vehcile to explore chinese history.... an interesting thing to keep in mind while watching the movie.... i heard that it was the most expensive movie ever made in china, and i must say that the craftsmanship is extraordinary, the production values are absolutely top notch... the visuals are lush and beautiful, at times the colours seem to exploding off the screen, and the martial arts chereography, although it relies heavily on wires (i myself prefer the old skool way like jackie chan in drunken master), is still very impressive, everyone can appreciate the technical mastery of the fight scenes... jet li really has the chance to showcase his skills, the guy is a master, and since he doesnt have to stumble through any english dialogue he also displays some startling acting ability... al i know ure a bit of a purist, and this movie is by no means a kung fu movie in the traditional mold; i would call it a martial arts movie even those who hate martial arts can enjoy, much like crouching tiger... and the end is very thought provoking with lessons for those in modern-day china... i would encourage everyone to go see it

- Perhaps you're right about the meat dishes at Jaipur Palace, Tom. It doesn't change the fact that their food sucked. (I'm gonna ignore the "uve forgotten what good indian food tastes like" comment. It makes about as much sense as saying that you have some sort of oral disease...) I've eaten vegetarian food at a lot of indian restaurants and, bar none, this was the worst (and, though the rest of my family would agree, that wouldn't change their philosophy on picking restaurants; in fact, it might make them more likely to go to the same two again.)
I believe I am going with Micfo to host, but I need to register a domain. Suggestions?

- Well hello one and all- It has been a long time since i've posted anything on here.
And of course there is a reason to this post.
I think that all of you should come out and cheer on our Andy tomorrow at one of the very last trappers baseball games ever played in our city. First Pitch is at 7:05 but about 30 mins before then, our beloved Andy will be Line Dancing with over 130 mascots.
Who: You, me and whom ever else
What: Baseball game and making fun of Andy
Where : Telus Feild
When: 6:30pm
Why: Because it's supporting our baseball team
Bad Movie Monday is post poned because of this event
To be a good friend and come cheer on Andy
I hope to see you all there - And tickets are relativley cheap- either 8 or 11 dollars, bring your student ID - you may get a discount - but you can't hold me to that.
So have a good night and see you tomorrow

first tony i would be down for garden state, everyone i know who has seen it has enjoyed it.... plus my friend from ontario has seen it and said since it was so good hell see it again... furthermore i dont think ive seen u since crosshairs just after school ended its been a long damn while.... i am assuming of course that tonestar runner is indeed tony i am only 80% sure.... if it turns out that thats not u tony then person whoever u are fuck off i dont want to see that piece of shit movie with u... and paras heres a message for u.... i was at jaipur palace 2 weeks ago for my grandmas birthday, and everyone had a delicious meal..... i was very impressed with it and the dessert was most delicious (it was gulab jamin ya i dont know how to spell it but it was excellent).... in short paras i think uve been eating at maurya too long and uve forgotten what good indian food tastes like.... or it could just be that u didnt eat any of the good meat dishes..... the vegetarian fare at most indian restaurants is in my opinion (which no offence counts for more than most peoples on this board because i honestly think a lot of u have very poor taste) subpar except for maybe a good vegetable curry if its available... most of the other stuff, which i would be unable to name, is pure shit, mostly unidentifiable slop that i wouldnt have fed to my dog (rip max)... i think ive had the vegetarian restaurant discussion with for before, i can only commiserate with u concerning the dearth of such eating establishments in this city and wish u the best of luck in ur search for a good one
