- Kudos to Lewis Black on actually catching a story that falls between the cracks. This one is pretty shameful. It seems that the first coin commemorating the Twin Towers has been minted. It also features the Freedom Tower (the to-be-built replacement that stands a hubrisical (so I made up a word. wanna fight about it?) 1776 feet tall). So what's so shameful? This:
Most importantly, each coin has been created using .999 Pure Silver recovered from Ground Zero! No, this is not a misprint. The silver used in each gleaming dollar coin is from Ground Zero! You see, when the Twin Towers fell on September 11, 2001, a bank vault full of .999 Pure Silver bars was buried under hundreds of tons of debris. After months of salvage work, many of the bars were found. Now, the same silver that was reclaimed from the destruction has been used to create the magnificent 2004 “Freedom Tower” Silver Dollar.
That's right folks. Now you can be just like Bushie and Rummie and all the other morons and literally own a piece of the salvage. They've taken recovered silver and minted into collectors' items! They'll be sold for $40, but you can get them at a special price: $23.95!
Fuckers...

- Didn't delete it, but removed some references. So now it makes no sense. But what do you care? Nobody knows your face.

hmm... on second thought... maybe you could delete that last post for me Paras. If mikenomics reads that post and reports me, I could probably get in some deal of trouble with that class.

- First: Tay, are you in EDIT 435? I thought that was the one you were talking about... Anyway, if you are in that class, I am now too. I just dropped my grammar class; it was a hellish world of made-up words and intangible rules. - But, hey, EDIT 435 looks pretty fucking great.
Otherwise, Par: The "The Office Special" DVD comes out on Nov 16. I think it would be necessary to have a, uh, Office Party of sorts. - And, hey, bravo on finding the Limbaugh book. You'll have to pass 'er on, so we can all have a taste.
In other Franken news, he's got that O'Franken Factor Factor CD coming out soon. Looks like good times ... And an Ann Coulter smash-fest. (ha ha)
