ive heard about those studies alison but theyve never proved a conclusive link... mere speculation, so u shouldnt hold it up as an iron clad fact... if it was proved beyond a measure of a doubt do u think they would still be allowed to sell it? if there was even a reasonable link do u think people would still want to wear it? or is it a conspiracy, with the powerful deodorant lobby, headed by menen and gillette, acting in league with the corporate media to bury the facts? also men sweat more than women, so it is far easier for a woman to find an effective deodorant than a man..... a deodorant that holds up for just walking around campus isnt neccesarily going to hold up on the basketball court.... not only that but when i sweated this shit would turn the armpits on my shirt brown because of the dye used in the organgic deodorant..... fuck lush they sell shit.....

actually, that aluminum oxide works to shrink your sweat glands in your armpits. (actually found in antipersperants; deodorants just cover the scent but still let you sweat, look at your bar to see what you've really got) But your body compensates by sweating more elsewhere... I dunno, armpit sweat, or a really sweaty back? (or other areas...) you choose. The aluminum oxide has also been found to contribute to alzheimers and breast and other cancers too.

There are effective non-aluminum deodorants out there, honestly... unless I stink and just don't know it... and everyone else who uses those deodorants also stinks and doesn't know it... and the rest of the world doesn't know that they stink. They work, you just have to find one that works for you. me, I'm just allergic to most deodorants, so I've thankfully reduced my risk of getting alzheimers and cancer from my deodorants since I started needing to use deodorant.... but if you prefer aluminum, alzheimers, cancer and sweating from the other pores on your body more, go for it, it's your choice.

yes, taylor, my brief dalliance with "organic" (if thats really what it is who the fuck knows for sure) deodorant proved to be a dismal falure, much to the chagrin of my opponents on the basketball court.... ive moved on to greener, better-smelling pastures thanks to the generosity of simon lam who supplied me with a stick of ck obession-scented deodorant... the "organic" label is just a way to sell inferior products at a ridiculously inflated price, as i learned over the course of my eleven-month stinkathon.... but would i throw it out? nooooooooooo because i paid like eleven bucks for it, so i might as well just use it until it runs out right? theres a reason aluminum zirconium nitrate is in every stick of decent deodorant, because it WORKS god dammit
