All right, I've stepped up. Gimme that sweet, sweet, Irish brew...

Anyway, here's something (thanks Fark) that is both brilliant and painful at the same time. Jon Stewart was a guest on Crossfire. For those unfamiliar, this features Tucker Carlson (a.k.a. the guy with the bowtie) "on the right" and Paul Begala (a.k.a. Mr. Forehead) "on the left." Essentially they spew talking points at each other for half an hour. Stewart tries to hold them to it. Carlson tries to get on Stewart's back for not having more serious interviews. The whole interview is absurdly funny, but here's the best part:

STEWART: It's not honest. What you do is not honest. What you do is partisan hackery. And I will tell you why I know it.

CARLSON: You had John Kerry on your show and you sniff his throne and you're accusing us of partisan hackery?

STEWART: Absolutely.

CARLSON: You've got to be kidding me. He comes on and you...
[Carlson said earlier that Stewart kissed up to Kerry with questions like "How are you holding up?"]

(CROSSTALK)

STEWART: You're on CNN. The show that leads into me is puppets making crank phone calls.

The sad thing is, neither bowtie nor forehead realized what Stewart was saying. They ended up doing exactly what he criticized them for, as he was criticizing them.

All right, I'm not sure about the details of the bet (I think a Guinness was involved, but I am unsure which way it goes...), but the official story on Step By Step (a.k.a. SBS or "The Brady Bunch for the 90s") is that Sarah Michelle Gellar was not a member of the cast. The tomboy (who I think Jere said was played by Sarah Michelle Gellar) was actually played by Christine Lakin.

Well Tay, Grand Arms could probally kick any of those mecha asses in terms of sheer firepower, but I don't think he looks very good. Granted some of those artist on MMFT don't have the best drawing skills but the ones who do totally would blow Grand Arms out of the water. I don't think he looks that good. MMFT tournament is about design and how good it looks not about who has the most weapons. That 1010 missle mecha probally couldn't touch Grand Arms though. The Giga class missles could be used to destroy a planet and I don't think that mecha is that powerful. But man its not the amount of weapons that your mecha has, its how cool it looks. I just don't think Grand Arms is cool enough.

perhaps you should set the clock properly though. I track a lot of people's habits based on when they post. If the times are wrong, then I miss out on a lot. Have you considered dating entries too?

It's fixed now. Apparently IE is a little aggressive in escaping special HTML characters. So I added another line to the script. It should work now. (Perhaps I should have tested it on other platforms/browsers. Oh well. If a certain Mac user who frequents the site *wink, wink, nudge, nudge* could let me know of any problems, that'd be swell.)
