Those of you who voted in the civic election last week, pat yourself on the back. Also, think about this question. How hard is it to design a ballot? Remember that ballot? Pretty simple. Complete the line with your sharpie. Now, here's the absentee ballot from a county of Ohio:

Voting for Bush? If so, and you fill in box 14 (the green one), you're dead wrong. (Note: The colours are not on the ballot.) The red one is correct. Once again, how hard is it to design a ballot?? We'll settle the Alberta election (which hasn't even been called yet) before the mess down there is cleaned up.

I'm going to tell you all a little story about the failure of my computer and the fun and exciting things that will happen to it. Lets start at the beginning. It was a cold winter of 1998 when I first got my Pentium 2. It was bought from a computer manufacturing company which no longer exist. We brought it home then the nightmare started. The cd drive did not work and we had to reinstall the computer 2 times before it worked. More recently you have may noticed I have ran around trying to find a copy of Window 2000 so I could use a wireless card. Well I blame the university since they are cancelling there dial up service I had to switch over to cable modem. This proved to be troublesome to route a wire to the upstairs so we decided to go wireless. Now you see I installed 2000 and the wireless card still did not work. We went and got a ethernet network card and the computer still wouldn't work. So we finally decided to relagate that piece of shit into a word processing machine and bought a whole new system which I am using right now. Moral of the story... Blame the university for all your troubles! I have bad luck with computers.
PS: I can't use my scanner now so don't expect to see Grand Arms Panzer up anytime soon. Curse you University.
PPS: Huzzah!

That's it, time for some real content.
The website Coudal Partners had a contest to see who could set music to NASA footage of test crashes of old airliners the best. Here is the winner, along with the other submissions.
In my opinion, the example one was by far the best, but there were some good showings by the others.
And for all you hip kids out there, Múm is playing live on CBC Radio 3 this Saturday night.
