Apparently, there are levels of zany eccentricity yet to be attained. Case in point, Donald Knuth:
- He pays a finder's fee of $2.56 for any typos/mistakes discovered in his books because "256 pennies is one hexadecimal dollar".
- Version numbers of his TEX software approach π, that is versions increment in the style 3, 3.1, 3.14 and so on
- He has a pipe organ installed in his home. Knuth disclaims any particular talent in the instrument, however.
My personal favorite, though, is his first scientific article, where he defined the fundamental unit of length as the thickness of of MAD Magazine #26, and the fundamental unit of force as a "whatmeworry". (Thanks, Wikipedia)

Tay, that guy at Goodbrush.com is freaking amazing! No filter? Only the basic layers and tools? Wow! I'm impressed he could probally use photoshop better then most of the wanks on MMFT. I'll probally never get to that level but that site was a good motivator to try better. 3 post in a row, back to old form I guess.

Tay that was a pretty interesting essay. Hopefully your professor doesn't rape you in marking it or late penalties. Go get some sleep.

Tay, I was thinking that the scanner that won't work on my computer might work on yours. As long as you use window 98. Its USB and has a freaking huge flatbed scanning surface. You can buy it off me for around 30 dollars or probally less since its not that new. Just let me know. thanks for your comments on Grand Arms! Its not bad but I think I can do better. We'll have to wait until I get a scanner that can work on my computer.

This, my friends, has been the bane of my existence.

STUPID ESSAY!!! ARGHHHH.
BTW- Al, that Grand Arms Panzer looks friggin AWESOME!!! The way you were talking about it, I seriously didn't expect that it would turn out even half that good! Good job on that buddy!!! Congrats!

Well to keep you wolves at bay I'll post the picture of the incomplete Grand Arms Panzer. Its not completely done but that is mostly just the background. All those people on MMFT would probally say that it sucks but I really don't care as I put down too much time behind it. Well this is for all you sucky drawers out there just like me. This ones for you.
Ugly ain't it. Well I based it off the A-10 Warthog (A air to ground/anti-armor attack plane for all you non-military types.) and it's the mecha equivalent of the A-10. It's big blocky and full of weapons, its just brute strength and nothing else. Now if I could get a scanner I can finish all his other forms. Well it sucks but thats okay because this will incourage all the other sucky drawers to post there stuff on the internet as well. Just post who cares what other people think. Well enough ranting I got homework to do.

paras: don't worry about the images, i just didn't want to eat up load time.
allison: to paraphrase what a character in Slaughterhouse V once said, "humans are always asking why...when really the same can be asked of why not"
everyone: it's thoroughly fascinating reading posts on the Ashlee Simpson MSG board.. i wonder how much if it is P&R label people trying ease the fire with responses in the tone of "kind hearted 14 year old, fan girl"

well... if I had known it would do that, I would've done something different... why are you posting such pretty things Eric? I mean, not that you're not allowed, but I just want to know what's with the style research...

Eric, if you think I'm gonna turn those URLs into proper image tags, don't hold your breath. Images work, that much I know.
Speaking of what works, here's what's in the plans for the board (comments welcome and encouraged)...

Actually, I had a list there. I really did. But then I thought "They're going to be expecting something, now." It's already bad enough that you people expect everything to work all the time. So, I'm just gonna surprise you with it (plus, then I don't have a deadline.)

And, for those who are curious, Pitcairn Island trial is over, with the six men found guilty, but free pending appeal. If you're "in the know", you may know that Pitcairn Island is where the famous HMS Bounty mutineers ended up. It's also been home to incestuous (because there have never been more than 233 island dwellers in its present history) sexual abuse of the island's children. The past few years have been marred with legal challenges over whether the British government can try the six men in question for the abuse. Also, the capital is Adamstown.
