Where'd you get that quote from? If I had an iPod, those would all totally be on mine too. Speaking of which, everytime I'm in Blackbyrd I'm tempted to buy the animal collective 7 inch... If only I could somehow justify it financially??? ARGH. I hate HATE blackbyrd myoozik. They are cruel and inhumane.

[T]he ubiquity of the "hipster" has never been quite this intense. You know the one: He’s riding the L train, wearing a snug striped sweater, plugged into his iPod, with some band you’ve never heard of—Animal Collective, the Books, Death from Above 1979—piping into his ears.

holy fuck, what have i become?!? that shit seriously is all on my iPOD- the only difference is that we don't have an East Village or Midtown in Edmonton

Pitchfork Media Review (not the same as a Pitchfork Media review.)

Check it, Andy: Katamari Damacy 2 in the works. Look for it to ruin exams in 2005.

A distant relative of the bandwidth dump, the link dump:

Semi-realistic map of global sunlight and cloud cover (The archives of this have got to be useful to someone. There's a huge amount of data collaborated in these images.)

KarmabanQue (Who to boycott and why, I guess. The principle is great, but...)

Nearing Zero (again, because it got lost in time.)

Bridget Jones: The Edge Of Reason: "All the charm of a canceled CBS sitcom." (um... ouch.)

Ridge resigns. (I hope I still get to keep the Sesame Street terror alert.)

Bandwidth dump*: Return of the King Extended Edition trailer (apparently it will have 50 minutes of new footage, a fact that the trailer will beat repeatedly into your skull...)

*As it's the last day of the month, I figure I can waste some of my extra bandwidth. This is a one-day offer, however.
