No, I'm not worried about copyright infringement. Actually the depressing thing is that, if a large media company felt like it, they could probably lean on individuals running websites and get what they want whether it was a legally defensible case or not. Case in point, Jason Kottke (the source of the link, actually), when he put up a spoiler of the Ken Jennings loss. He was issued a cease-and-desist; whereas a Washington Post article had the same information and was not issued a similar request (demand?). Of course individuals don't have the resources to fight legal challenges against, say, Sony. It was an interesting read, nonetheless.

crap, I decreased Canada's score by 0.002%. Oh well, as they said: "50% = You're above average, but you shouldn't settle for above average." You know what's really awesome? The first time I tried it, it crashed, so it didn't give me a final score. The fuckers wouldn't let me locate Kuwait on the map, even when I clicked on it, bastards. But in other news, I love guessing correctly. Cape Verde?? who knew it was in South America? I mean really? Or Mali in central Africa... also another shocker. I guess I just don't know very much... but you all already knew that, didn't you?
ha ha! and for those of you who have no clue what I'm talking about... it's Geography Olympics, and the link is a page back.
um... Paras, are you worried about getting caught up in some copyright infringement? Can they actually sue you for running something like this where the users (ought to) know that everything is just hearsay and people's personal opinions, no one is selling anything and they sure as hell aren't using links to make profits? Just curious. I guess I'll have to check the link and see...

ChillingEffects.org provides many FAQs about legal issues and internet, including, for example, linking (specifically, whether trademark and copyright issues come up when linking to another site.) It's an interesting read, and I feel somewhat relevant here.

I still don't understand how you generate the numbers, but I got the message:
"003 ALRIGHT PAR, SEE IF THIS IS A LITTLE LESS CUMBERSOME TO USE."
I don't feel I deserve the reward mentioned in the previous message, as I had a lot of hints, so if anyone wants to translate Beck's previous numerical effort, it may be worth your while.
