so... January 3rd... work day or replacement holiday? I don't think I was ever told. Do you guys know? both my parents have it off, but my brother's back in school. None of this makes sense. So I think I'll 'work' a bit today and call it even... but I just don't know. hmm
anyone want to throw in their judgement call?
and, on another note. y tu mama tambien ('and your mother too') is an incredibly sexy movie... but not in the north american/usa kind of sexy, this is smouldering latin sexy. if you plan on watching it, I suggest that you don't invite your parents along for the ride. It's also a coming of age movie, so it brings some of that early adulthood baggage into it too. but really, lots of sex and nudity. and the underlying subplot of exposing a lot of mexico's political unrest... very interesting how they wove that into the movie... great use of a narrator (a bit like Amelie in that regard) somehow it stays totally uncategorizable because it's just so different from everything else I've seen. it's no porn, though there sure is a lot of sex. anyway, good movie.

Al, Spywareblaster is another program that helps out with spyware. But for start page hijackers, you might want to use HijackThis to identify your IE startpage and remove that line, along with running your spyware programs

Favourite shows I got to play in 2004
with London Disturbance Force: The Intesives, Hit & Run, Hellthrasher, and the Homewrekers. This show was awesome. When we did our shitty cover of Motorhead's "Killed By Death" for an encore and everyone went nuts, that was the funnest thing I've ever done! Plus, all the bands were fuckin incredible that night.
with LIME: it's a tie. Either that one at Stars waaay at the beginning of the year with Totheteeth/tothehilt, Change Methodical, and Stillframe or else the recent one at the Shark Tank with the Fontanelles, the Mark Birtles Project and Fractal Pattern. Those were both really fun bills to play on.

hey Al, using firefox won't stop spyware.
You will probably need Adaware and Spybot-S&D.
Not to say you should stop using firefox or anything.
The extensions I have are:
Adblock
Linkification
Word Count
Allow right click
BugMeNot
You can get them here and here
