Hey Paras,

What I meant by the "I told you so" was not as though it was coming from you per se, but from environmentalists at large... you know, the whole "if you destroy the earth, you will destroy yourself" kind of attitude.

And, further on that topic of mangroves, the UN is now suggesting that they would've been helpful in halting the tsunami too... look here

What is it with this week? Not only is it the first week of classes, but I've got something every night this week as well. How can I make sure I know everything I need to from my folks before they disappear if I'm not even going to be home? I guess I won't be going to the End of Suburbia yet again...

But hey, on the movie front, is anyone interested in going to see Kinsey? It's on at the garneau right now, and I think it'd be a really interesting film. and... so long as I go sometime after thursday, things should be alright on the homefront too.

7:00 at the U of A LRT sounds good to me... unless we're worried about getting a good seat... but then again, I don't really know how full it'll be... still it is Coupland, and he's amazing, I can't see why people wouldn't crowd in to get there early and have a good seat... meh, whatever. I'll enjoy it from wherever I sit. 7:00 it is.

I'm assuming you mean at the top, can I suggest we meet a little before 7 (like 6:55?), as the LRT comes and leaves shortly thereafter, and it's always good to be there a minute or two before it comes, and not a minute or two after it's left.

The forecast? No idea.

How much longer? 116 days. Sorry.

"You're gonna suffer, you're gonna bleed
I've heard it all before, you will concede.
...
It's gonna be a long night.
"

(Haha. The song that follows that on the album is zoloft, though.)
