Sad news for you Transformer fans out there. Dream Wave entertainment went bankrupt. They are the producers for the new Transformer comics.

In happier news the rights for said Transformers are going up for auction so you can buy the rights to draw and market your favourite Transformer.

Just so ya know:

Poetry Face-Off

Edmonton's 2005 Poetry Face-Off takes place on Monday, January 24.

The Face-Off is from 7:30-8:30 p.m. (doors open at 7:00) at the Backroom Vodka Bar (10324-82 Avenue Upstairs), a well-known poets' hangout.

Music will be provided by singer-songwriter Wendy McNeill.

Five local poets will take the stage with brand new poems commissioned by CBC Radio on the theme of "play". Our local winner will face the winners from nine other cities across Canada in the fourth annual national Poetry Face-Off on The Roundup, April 4-6. CBC listeners will get their chance to vote for the national winner on-line at cbc.ca.

This year's poets from Edmonton include: Dawn Carter, Michael Appleby, Janice Kozub, Tim Cusack and Anna Mioduchowska.

Edmonton's winning poet will be chosen by the live audience that night, by secret ballot. The evening will be recorded for broadcast on local CBC programs as well as on the national Face-Off.

Paras - in case you were interested I looked up that piece where Arjuna pretends to be a eunuch and he does indeed dress in women's clothes to do so. While his brothers pretend to be cooks or stable hands Arjuna was cursed by a courtesan (he refused to have sex with her) to be treated as a eunuch and I guess he figured this would be a good way to fulfill the curse.

Big prob Leo no spare AGP slot! When I bought the computer I only planned to use it for about 1 year and then my sister would take it over when I moved out. I didn't look at it carefully enough to see if it could be expanded. You can add more ram and probally a new sound card as well as another dvd drive and that is it. So yeah unless I plan to change the mother board no can do.

No deal niggas it seems that the video card it came with is the one it will have forever. Unless I change the whole motherboard and if I do that I might as well get a new computer.

Shouldn't she look hotter on the cover of a FHM magazine? Don't they have these fancy phtographers, makeup, wardrobe, and airbrushing people? I guess FHM messed up then.

Whether that image is airbrushed or not, she doesn't look very hot there at all. That's a terrible picture. I think she looks much, much hotter on TV.
