Yeah, my van stalled out on the high-level bridge last night. That was kinda scary considering how there were all these cars whipping around that blind corner onto the bridge and then just barely switching lanes in time to avoid rear-ending me. SHIT. The fact that you're parked against a rail that is the only divider between you and a good hundred or so meters drop till you hit the ground/ice/water becomes very salient at that point. And when the back of your vehicle is loaded with gear it doesn't really serve to make it any better.

Well, you could stick a really cheap ass PCI card in then, other than that there's absolutely no point in upgrading your computer. Those cases basically fit *only* that motherboard or it's impossible to take the board out.

awesomeness of all awesomeness, my car won't start for the third day in a row. It barely even turns over ... I think the battery is frozen, and I think everything else is frozen too. The fan sounds like shit when it's on battery mode, and the radio hardly even turns on... so I turned them both off to try and get more power. today, after three hours of plugging in, I could get it to almost turn over twice, but no dice, and it sure did take forever to come back to the battery-powered non-existence of the engine after the fact. Awesome! AMA here I come. That car has to work for tonight, or Grandma's not getting any dinner.
