Highlights from the LISTEN RECORDS MAILING LIST:
NEW ARRIVALS
Cursive - Art Is Hard/The Recluse Robotic - Empire - 10"
- "Omaha, Nebraska's Cursive have been consistently evolving and innovating their indie/rock sound since their inception over nine years ago, and their latest vinyl release is no exception. Combining two CD-singles originally released by Saddle Creek in support of their most recent album, The Ugly Organ, this limited picture disc 10" record contains two phenomenal album tracks, "Art Is Hard" and "The Recluse", along with three rarely-heard B-sides, "Sinner's Serenade", "Once" and "Adapt". Creating an indefinable sound, Cursive is amongst a rare breed of bands that mixes the finest elements of indie rock's myriad of sub-genres, managing to pull on one's emotions without being overtly wimpy about it. It's not hard to understand why critics praise the band, including a four-star review from Rolling Stone and a 5/5 from Alternative Press. Best known for innovative and extreme heavy music, Robotic Empire is extremely proud to release this 10" record by one of independent music's most creative groups. Limited to 2750 copies."
Postal Service, The - We Will Become Silhouettes - Sub Pop - 12"
- A new single from The Postal Service! (And, here we mean the band, not the government agency that delivers the mail lest we mislead you) AND! There’s a brand new b-side here: Be Still My Heart. In addition to the album version of the title track, and Be Still My Heart this single includes a Matthew Dear remix of We Will Become Silhouettes, and a Styrofoam remix of Nothing Better.

Well if she didn't have a neck she would... it's just that her whole body was as wide as her shoulders with no curvature at all. She looked like a cube with legs.
Maybe it's the post-baby swelling.

If you're gonna lob softball questions at your boss on a call-in show, don't forget if you have a distinctive voice.
And I don't care, I still hate "psychics".
How can someone look like spongebob squarepants? Although if someone from junior high were to live in a pineapple...

or... you could buy the $8 Cineplex movie passes from SUB info booths and forget that whole issue entirely... (limit of 4 per purchase, and you must show your student ID)
was Kim Bourget the really mean brunette one who looked vaguely like Adele without the whole skeleton-thing going for her?
And... where do you go to eat if you're incredibly tired of SUB food and you think you've pretty much exhausted all your on-campus options?
