Do you think the owner of the Taiwanese condom company is using his real name? I mean c'mon... Huang Wanting? I don't buy that jizz-shpiel for one second.

That ananova site is actually the same place where I orignally found that "Man peed out of avalanche" article. haha That site is rad. I've also noticed that the Edmonton Sun prints most of it's first-page articles from that site actually.

nice, Beck, being a jerk just for the sake of it?

no, they haven't all been solved, but when all of them have solutions and action plans, it's next to impossible to figure out what they'd like you to do. So I think I'm going to look at a number of different recovery plans and come up with my own, but given the parameters of my assignment, I wasn't too sure where to begin... most problems have solutions given the nature and delay of scientific publishing.

P, I'm assuming you're Percy... wtf?
that's an invasive species issue, and the analogy side of things is not the point of the paper. The point of the paper would be, for example, to discuss how the black plague was caused by rats, and then how to manage the rat etc. populations to bring it under control. Or, in the case of SARS, supposed 'management' of civet cats. Not to create analogies to the human population, no matter what you personally think. This is not that kind of a philosophical negative paper pointing the finger at humans... because really, the only solution to that is severe population control, a radical turnaround in current behaviour, and about 20 million other things that need to be done, but no one wants to admit to wanting to do or personally be willing to undertake. (I mean, would you be willing to not give your children any vaccinations or medical treatment etc. because it was all part of natural selection in the end?)

It has to be about a real conservation issue that still needs to be solved... and I have no idea.

If I werz to write a term paper I would compare the rats spreading the black plague in europe to the human race destroying the planet. Breeding, disease, infestation, desimation.

Even a dog knows not to shit where it sleeps.

so, if you had a term paper due on Thursday, and you hadn't started it, what would you write on?
It has to be about a real conservation issue that still needs to be solved... and I have no idea. it's supposed to also be a position paper and action plan like one would have to make if working for the government. great. I hate homework.
