I realize there are students like this in other disciplines (ie. students who think they know more about the world and the subject matter than the people teaching/running the course), but the sheer concentration seems higher in comp sci. It may have to do with the fact they learned a lot about computers on their own at the hobby level. Nevertheless, you'd think some respect is due to the people who are running/teaching the course, particularly as they have been the computer hobbyists and do know more than the students.

I think the idea of handing in pre-labs should be abolished anyway. It should be our own responsibility to prepare for the lab.

alright, i don't write much here.-that means it's likely important, so LISTEN UP!!! i am planning an old school skateboard jam...obviously once the snow has melted, but i want to get a good jump on this thing, 'cuz i really like skateboarding-maybe even more than i like you...maybe, i don't know who's reading this right now.
