You heard her, Andy. You can steer, but I get to do the pedals.

Oh, and The Publik, Friday, 8:30. You know why. (And if you don't, come and find out.)

Hey, in addition to it being Lithuania's Day of Independence, it is also the day that the Kyoto Protocol finally comes into effect. Hooray! So... how's about we celebrate by not driving our cars individually, and perhaps turning the heat down? ;) ha ha! yay anyway!

And... Albert, it's actually quite entertaining to read your gripes about bureaucracies when you're not actually in one... Bureaucracies are fun! And I'm not just saying that because I am a bureaucrat... honest! Besides, you can't slam them all. Some bureaucracies actually work, even if there is a ton of red tape. The problem is that politics get brought into the chain of command... with that, everything goes to shit. but whatever, I'm not here to slam or exault bureaucratic workings, I just thought it was funny, coming from an "insider's" point of view.

and... it's "breathe" "breath" is the stuff that comes in and out of ones' lungs, when you're not calling it air or something of that ilk. when you need a verb, it's "breathe"... with an e That's one of those commonly misspelled words that really pisses me off, so i thought i'd finally say something about it.

Fark gets to name the Fleet Center for a day. Winning name here (I wonder if they'll allow that.)

Isn't that the way bureacracies work? The higher ups have all the control what they wish to do with the information presented to them is within their power. The United States is well known for a overbloated bureacracy which gets nothing done. Project approval years, project completion decades. With this type of enviroment burecrats play machevalian games in the back to get what they want. Main reason for the 9/11 conspiracy. It isn't Bush who is doing it but the military-industrial complex which wants more money for defense spending. Create a phony war, get the paranoia and approval you need to get a new bloated budget for military spending. If you want to kill the enemy you have to cut off the head. If you go high up enough the chain of command always ends up being one person. Find this "ivory tower" general and apprehend with extreme prejedice... It's the only way to get anything done...
