yes, as a general rule, if you want to actually do something, you say it to the people you want to join you in it. don't post things, posting is a very transitory medium, and if you really actually want to get anywhere with what you're trying to do, then TALK to people... phone works best for such things.

i'm jealous of you all who have nothing to do. all I want is to do nothing... but I get to clean out a listserve instead. woo hoo! anyway, bask in the nothingness, and go out and do stuff instead of moping about not doing anything. whining only works if you can't do anything about your problem. just look at me.

Well talking to people didn't actually do anything. They were all busy.

Well, yesterday I did very little. At least not until later. Wow, that's enough of Overtime for me for the time being, so no one dares mention it for at least a few days. The place is actually nice when it's not crouded.
ok, Al, since you're so damned desperate, we can set something up. I'm not doing all that much over the course of this week, so just drop me a line(this goes for anyone) and it can be arranged. The key to actually doing things is to talk to people. Not leave sad messages on a board. You'll be amazed how well it actually works.
