I just figured that, if you're being quoted, it's nice to have an army backing you up. For the record, they aren't focussing simply on the live-action role-playing, but D&D in general. (Really, as I've said before, they should go after Warhammer, too, but who am I to set Israeli defense policy?) It's a very Jack Chick attitude, but, as anyone who knows me well knows, I take everything Jack Chick says to heart.

not that I particularly want to 'go there' but seriously, playing the game in the living room versus playing the game in a live action, "I'm going to club you with my sword" kind of way are two different things. (though I hardly doubt it shows a lack of intelligence or ability to separate the real world from that of fantasy.)

Depends if that application package you're sending "ticks" or not, and whether or not it can be difused and if you have control of the remote detonator. In that case, send it directly to whoever has the ability to hire you. Then, when they get your "application" you storm into their office with your finger on the detonating trigger and demand they take a good look at your "application" and say:

"Try me. Just try me. I DARE you to not give me the job."

So what if you don't have any references? References are over-rated. Using this technique, I've never had any need for them.

Company with c/o the person

So if you are applying for a job and they give the name and address of a contact person. And they say mail your application package directly to the employer. Would you mail it to the the contact person, or would you mail it to the company?

You can still be a mecha freak though. The military is always looking for mecha freaks.
