Popstrology - the idea that your fate/character is determined not by the celestial alignment under which you were born, but the pop song that was at the top of the charts on your birthday. 'If, for example, you happen to have been hatched during that brief, blissful period in October, 1976, when the airwaves were ruled by “Disco Duck,” you may have inherited from its creators, the opportunistic d.j. Rick Dees and His Cast of Idiots, an ability “to parlay simple needs and even modest gifts into the precise degree of greatness to which you aspire.”'
Meh, makes about as much sense as actual astrology. Well, unless you're reading these horoscopes. Those ones are totally true.

Oh yeah if anyone can find a link to the video of the DFA 1979 appearance on Conan, that would be much appreciated.

Talk about insanity, I just wrote my midterm today from 12:30-2,
My prof is already done grading them, my mark is posted when I checked at 11 pm.
Did I mention that there are at least 100 people taking this class.

It may not be obvious at first, but he's navigating google maps (.mov) by tilting his laptop. This apparently came up when someone figured out how to read the Apple Motion Sensor (equipped on the hard drive to turn off the disks in case of a fall) and tie it to software. Another cool hack.
Eric, is that show also on the 28th? Or is there another date for that?
