You're all looking at this the wrong way. It's NOT "the rest of my life", as much as it is "the eternal summer". School ends, summer holidays begin, and (for some of us) there's no school to to return to at the end. It's the Eternal Summer of our lives. For the first time in your life you can do whatever the fuck you want to do. For most of us, school is like a full-time job: you do it from 9-5, and then immediately go to work till like 11 at night, come home and maybe do some homework (or read sci-fi and surf the net in my case), and there's no time for anything else. Now factor out that whole school bullshit and all you've got left is this:
9-5: whatever piece of shit job you can get to pay the rent.
5-12: seven hours (every day) of whatever the fuck you feel like.
It's a beautiful life.

yes, for most of us, the fall is definitely school/work time, but for me, it's the big question mark that starts the 'rest of my life' so why not travel? I know I'm not the only one going into this sort of a situation, so I figured I'd see if anyone was up for some foreign adventures... the only requirement from my side is that we visit France.
By the way, you all missed a really great movie. The End of Suburbia is something I think everyone should watch, it's funny and ironic, while also informative and alarming... what better combination could there be? Plus, the words 'shitstorm' and 'clusterfuck' are used - though that sort-of destroys some of the excitement about watching it... Perhaps I'll have a movie night at my house really soon... we can watch the End of Suburbia (if there's interest) and Saved (which is also totally awesome)

Fall? Isn't that the time most of us are working or doing grad school? Well I plan to get a job by fall, if not Japan here I come. (English teacher, not there for fun.)

Nevermind Par now it is a matter of putting it in and figuring how to tweak the damn thing. I expect another 100 things to go wrong. Expect more bitching from me.

I sent you a e-mail with the evil code attached. I'm getting a syntax error for the "main" function (line 9 column 5). You could look over it, but seeing how things are shaping up we might not be able to attach the recievers to the micro controller. I don't know I guess it is last minute panic time.

getch() takes no arguments.
Of course, if you want to be correct about things, you should use something like the following:
char input_char;
scanf("%c", &input_char);
That reads one character from the keyboard.
If you are using a UNIX or similar system, you can do 'man <function name>' at the command line and get this info. Google also helps.

Really simple question for C programing. What the heck is the syntax structure for declaring a "getch" function. I keep on getting a syntax error for some odd reason.

For about twenty more minutes, Al. Drop me an e-mail if you like.
