Jere, forget about the U of A, go out to UBC! all that rainforest, awesome food and live music scene and cycling year round - without needing snow chains! Plus, I'm sure you won't be able to resist the pull of wreck beach now and then! ;) haha! plus it looks good if you go somewhere else for your second degree... (if you're worried about those sorts of things...) actually, I have no idea of that holds true for chemistry or not...
