I remembered yesterday afternoon, but by the time I went to bed I had forgotten so I didn't set my alarm clock and didn't remember until about noon today. On top of that I had no phone or internets so there was no way for you (or anyone else for that matter) reminding me...
Again I'm really, really sorry. I did have every intention of driving you.
I'm glad you got there though.

In other news, the internets are up here, still no phone, but this works just as well if not better.
