from which i found a link to:
http://dudeman.goodwednesday.com/Music/
which hosts OHSHIT, albums from the ALL AMERICAN REJECTS, Good Charlotte and Bowling for Soup (it's not 1985) ... oh and the G-rated Soundtracks of Ladder 49 and Coach Carter
but if for whatever reason you haven't heard the Outkast, Hot Hot Heat, or can't find the 50 Cent album, go here.

SESAME STREET TURNED 35 or something.

news from blog:
http://perseus.lunarpages.com/%7Eseang02/

there's a track review at Pitchfork of the Birds, but just download the track for yourself-"Do the Splits and Say, 'Neat!'" It's pretty dope. if for whatever reason you think Karen O needs to add some more balls to the bootyshake of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, go straight to Thunderbirds are Now! - (but fuck, this skinny guitar disco beat thing's getting out of hand)

Wrangling over the date of the budget vote. The Liberals claim that it has to be on May 19, because of BC's provincial election and the Queen's visit (which the Prime Minister is to attend on Wednesday). The Conservatives want the vote on Monday, so as to allow MPs undergoing cancer treatment to be present to vote. The NDs have suggested "pairing", where MPs from one side of the vote would not attend parliament if the paired MP from the other side of the vote is unable to attend due to cancer treatment.

But aren't we overlooking the real reason the Liberals want the vote on May 19th? Obviously, Paul Martin knows of a reason the Conservatives are reluctant to show up on Thursday. There's mounting evidence. Collectibles have shown up in the house. Absentee notes have been prepared. Tickets have been bought. And now, studies have proven that what Paul Martin suspects is true.

It's right there in front of you people! Conservatives will be under-represented in the House on May 19th, because they'll be dressed up as Wookies and Stormtroopers (although not Ewoks, naturally) and attending the premiere of Episode III.

At the risk of sounding (once again) as though I'm overanalyzing a webcomic, I'd like to point out, in case you read today's eerie Friday-the-13th edition (oo-wee-oo?) of the comic, that I still love the little details. For example, in this one, the gamespy dude starts salivating in the last panel. It's not overly obvious, and not crucial to the humour, but it's that little touch that adds a disproportionate amount of what can only be described as guffaw-i-tude.

Uh, yeah, and the comic is funny, too.
