Jere and I are heading out to Twin Lakes next weekend for some camping and possibly diving. We're going down Saturday afternoon and coming back monday evening. Anyone is welcome to come. I'll put up directions later and I can carpool some people. The sites are $13 a night for 2 tents and 2 vehicles (or something like that... anyway, it's cheap).

How to advertise and make money using bit torrent to distribute free TV programs. The gist? Use the "bug" (that little translucent channel ID logo in the corner). The punchline? By eliminating the distributor and the broadcaster from the chain of distribution, less advertising is necessary to make money from TV shows.
Also, from the same author, about the shutdown of TV bit torrent sites, my quote of the day:
I am no longer a futurist. I am a presentist. Everyone else is simply living in the past.

Ok, for those desperate for a useful RSS feed for those torrents of yours, here you go:
http://www.damnyouparas.com/mn_rss.xml
It's basically mininova's RSS feed, but it links to actual torrent files, rather than web pages. (For Beck, this means no more clicking!) It updates at :00, :20 and :40 of the hour (unless someone has a better way to run a PHP script on a regular basis other than cron jobs.) Have fun, folks.
