we should have fucked that guy up. that would have been a Red's ol' time.
also, yeah Taylor i've considered putting together a music blog- i'm thinking it might be an extension of the potential magazine thing..i dunno. Plus Jaz and Chris have asked me if i wanted to split with them for webspace- so it could somehow be part of that. another thing i wanna get up on is creating a podcast - but to host it more like a magazine style show then simply a hits mixtape.

overall the show was alright, especially the mashed potatoes. but on a musiacal note, all the tunes were pretty damn sweet. While that guy that bitched and complained the entire show was freaken lame, the crowd didn't respond that well for the most part to the music. maybe it was the threat of being beaten down by an overzealous security guard for showing any hint of emotion. (Is there seriously a law against moshing and going up on stage?) My only other complaint was teh guy who materialized in front of me part way through the noise conspiracy show and just stood there being all big and not moving. my chest was pretty much on his back. I seriously don't know where he came from. meh, I shouldn't complain. It was still a good show.

And I have heard, that you have a link to a website that has every music video ever done by anyone that matters.
Jonathan Glazer, Spike Jonze, Michel Gondry, it's all here...

Yeah I'm sorry for dumping on you guys. I don't want to ruin any of your fun or anything. I just have these mental issues I have to work through or something.

I don't know if that makes me a prude or something but it just feels so empty just looking at pictures of chicks. I mean they are attractive but what makes looking at them worth our time? There is no interaction, no return of affection, no nothing. Their egos are boosted and you just wasted your time. Maybe I'm just getting too old for this shit. I just wish I could find someone to be with, no more of this lurking around the net looking at pictures like some akward adolecent. Well if karma has anything to do with it, I'm probally going to stay single the rest of my life. Sorry about this rant just had to get it off my chest.

Two things about the Noise Conspiracy/Trail of Dead show.
One, who was that first band?
Two, I was not terribly impressed by Trail of Dead. Maybe it had nothing to do with their set. Perhaps it was the guy to my left complaining about how the audience didn't "get" Trail of Dead. Perhaps it was the idiot in front of me who discovered early in the show that, if he raised his hands really high, they would show up on the screen (This discovery, akin to a child discovering that blowing air between his upper lip and his teeth makes a sound somewhat similar to a fart, was exploited at every opportunity, much as that child is wont to do with his new sound effect. Needless to say, the crowd got flipped off a lot.) Maybe it was the guitarist who looked like he was falling asleep that affected my impression of their set.
I don't know, but I didn't enjoy it much, until those last two songs (which were, admittedly, very good, if only by comparison). It was all the more unimpressive considering it was on the heels of what was, to me, an amazing set by Noise Conspiracy. (By the way, wow.)
Would I have appreciated them more had I listened to more of their music prior to the show? Am I lacking in some sort of musical couture that would have opened my eyes to some sort of hidden brilliance?
