Cows have a tendency to eat things that do not belong in their systems. IE. nails, part of barb wire fences, cans- anything that may be found in a feild- and they have a particular liking for metal. If a cow has eaten a nail or piece of fence or something - it goes through their system, cutting up the numerous stomachs. So if you feed a cow a magnet- it will attract the metal - and sit in one of their four stomachs so it does not continue through the body- damaging the rest of it.
However- there is a slight problem- if the cow eats a lot of metal and there is a magnet holding it all - you will eventually have to do surgery to remove the collection.

I went to urban dictionary and I don't think you are using the term "checkmate" correctly. You are in no way limiting someones choice in a situation. Such as cornering someone and you have a gun and they do not. You can then say checkmate, which makes sense. If you are making a portfolio it can't be checkmate, unless you destory everyone elses and limit their choice to your portfolio. Not trying to rain on your parade or anything but it just seems weird throwing slang around like such.
