Strange but I finally realized why my brother continues to be a asshole, he found a forum site about mixed martial arts where everyone on that site has the same mindset he has. It's like finding a forum where everyone there is a skin head. There's nothing wrong with him doing mixed martial arts but I don't really appreciate him dissing all his previous martial arts teacher he had before (He is on to his 4 maybe 5th teacher already.) You know without those previous teachers he wouldn't even be where he is right now. If my parents didn't enroll us in that class 9 or so years ago we wouldn't even be doing martial arts. I think my brother owes all his previous teachers a debt of gratitude. I know I do, every person you meet changes your life that much. You are in the end the sum of your experiances and memories, you can't erase your past you just have to live with it. As you can tell I've had a little too much time to think.

Hmm... if you go to this cookie page after getting to the advertisement preview for a Salon article, you can skip the 30 second ad. Interesting...

Maybe it's because I hate the dishonesty of the people in question, or maybe it's because I could not stand the scenes proposed as punishment, but I love this quote from an all too common discussion of the shutdown of yet another filesharing warehouse:

The very idea that the people downloading "Star Wars" to watch on their computers might somehow be dissuaded from shelling out for the movie in theaters is so ludicrous that any movie studio executive who even hints at believing it should be locked up in a stockade and forced to watch nothing but Anakin Skywalker/Queen Padme love scenes in a permanent loop.

Wow, Jere. I didn't think it would be that simple. I had something far more underhanded planned. Oh well, I suppose I can save that trick for someone else, for something else.

And Andy, I think you're being too hard on Novak. Clearly, he just doesn't understand a few words in the english language (such as, "caused", "more" or "the"). As an aspiring English teacher, I would think you would be more enthusiastic in helping Bob solve his language problems, lest he continue to unfairly receive awards from Jon Stewart.

Besides, O'Reilly is far worse:

The Founding Fathers and Gay Marriage:
O'REILLY: You know, the Founding Fathers didn't write anything into the Constitution about gay marriage. Because back then, if you were gay, they hung you.

So -- you couldn't get married 'cause they put you in the rack. You know, if you were runnin' around wearing a chartreuse hat, you were in lots of trouble. So, we didn't even have to worry about these people gettin' married because if they come out of their closet in the log cabin -- somebody'll shoot them in the head. So, there really wasn't an issue back in the Founding Fathers.

Hmm, then again, Novak did go Godwin about a senate fight over judicial nominees:
HUNT: Bob, why would Senator Frist refuse an offer [by Reid] to break the deadlock?

NOVAK: Because the whole system is that you're not going to have -- like going to a concentration camp and picking out which people go to the death chamber. You're not going to let the Democrats do that, say we're going to -- we're going to confirm this person, we're not going to confirm the other person. They're going to -- they're going to say that this is not the way we're going to do it. They've had all kinds of different offers of that kind.

Fuck, I don't know which is worse now.

Why do you guys always fall for these things? I suggest seeing Ichi the Killer several times until that disturbing image is erased from your minds. I hope Ichi the Killer doesn't disturb you more.
