in defense of the Sopranos, that show consistently raises questions of the media's portrayl of Italians and ethnic minorities (particularly through Milfy's EX husband) I think that's one of the few shows on television that actually addresses the issue in a meaningful discourse unlike what say the Simpsons does by giving airtime to its ridiculously stereotypical characters.
With respect to Alfonso Gagliano, i dunno man. he's pretty much just a fuckup, i mean honestly, how much disgraceful shit has that guy been caught up in? the fact that the Liberals haven't canned his ass long ago makes me mildly suspicious that they aren't just keeping him around to perpetuate those ethnic stereotypes, and tarnish the names of honest mushroom eating, fireball throwing Italians.
