Adobe Streamline is obsolete as of the current version of illustrator. They basically put a version of streamline in the actual illustrator program in CS2. But still, it sucks. Everything looked better if I traced it with the pen tool in illustrator... and that takes way too long setting up the splines and shit.
Also, you took an oracle test? Holy shit. So did you like, have to predict the future or something?

New The Week in Pictures is out. The one with the Korean riot police is funny. I think bbc and cbc do week-in-pictures kinda things, but this one is definately the best.

You kids who have been trying out Illustrator and were unhappy with the results might be interested in a program called Adobe Streamline. Streamline converts raster images to vector images. It doesnt do a perfect job, and personally I think its best for simpler images, outlines or silhouettes. I think there is also a 3rd party plug-in that can be downloaded off the net called SilhouettePlugIn. Like Al was saying, Illustator is cool for logo's or icons but not exactly a program for sketching or drawing things. Although you gotta wonder how they use it to do exactly that... perhaps there is some demo or tutorial out there.

When they said "Oracle skills test" I was worried... I thought it was gonna be a "We're-gonna-make-you-regret-you-said-you-knew-anything-about-Oracle test"... after the fact, it was more like "I'm gonna-destroy-your-easy-ass-skills-test test"

ahhhhh, fuck. Druid's had 50% off everything tonight so I drank 4 beers, slammed another, got another beer free and did a shot. And then I ate irish nachos and a buffalo chicken burger. And our whole bill only came to $80 which is fuckin amazing. But now I'm a little drunk, but not too much. Me and Clark and Jeremy went to the kaskitayo skate park at the YMCA and we skated it for about an hour and ahalf or maybe more. But me, Jeremy and Eric started dropping in on this one ramp and skating over to this curved wall/bowl and trying to ride the wall. I came close a few times, but Jeremy and Eric were better than me. But the fact that I was drunk, actually STILL drunk and that I rode down that ramp like a brazillion times when I've never dropped a ramp like that before is pretty good I think. I only bailed one time and I almost ate shit but I was okay. FUCK. That could've sucked. Then cops came and I don't think we were supposed to be there at like 1 in the morning so we fucking booked it. Haha, fuckin pigs aint got shit. IT was a good night.

*Hair Police - Constantly Terrified - Troubleman - CD
- "Lexington, KY's Hair Police are a true power trio. They started out as a power electronics band three years ago, then matured into a full-on band with drums, guitars, and electronics. Their sound has evolved into a more structured, full-on assault on the senses. They can go from the most intense destruction to subtle beauty in seconds, and they've become one of the most popular groups in the ever-growing noise scene populated by Black Dice, Wolf Eyes, Lightning Bolt, and Animal Collective."
