Thanks for those pics Jere. I don't know if you've sent those pictures to anyone else yet, but for anyone that would like Jere's pictures of Garnstock, I've added them to the zip file with all the other pics I have collected from Garnstock. You can download the super package here.

It's like Tricks of the Trade knows that you guys are going camping. They've got three fire-starting tricks so far this week.
Oh, and I love the Wi-Fi spray. Brilliant. The key is respraying every hour. The whole idea falls apart if you don't have to buy more.

yeah man, AIR. i remember Premiere Symptoms (jewel case version, not digi or reissue) being in heavy rotation around the same times as i was obsessing over the Beasties bestof (winter grade 12) Their whole french connection thing (them and Daft Punk and Cassius) was a sort of point of reference for me to relate to Fongzy when i first met him. he was trying to get me all up on French House, i tried to get him up on shoegazer - who'da known that the French would have found a realization of just that 7 years later with m83?
(oh yeah.Phoenix, don't forget about Phoenix, some of their softer stuff is pretty much AIR)

Yeah, moon safari is good, but of all the air albums I have so far (moon safari, premiers symptomes, virgin suicides [soundtrack], and walkie talkie) my favourite by far is Walkie Talkie. If anything you need to hear the fuckin brilliant (albeit simple) chord arrangements they use in the first song. I want to cry it's so good.

Jere, my other email address is right above this sentance.
Tay, how can you say you've wasted all this time when that Daggers CD will kick ass. I can't wait for that final master now, 'cause those tracks you sent me rock! Thanks for sending them to me.
As for Air, I loved Moon Safari, I would say it was one of my top two albums for Winter 2004/2005.
Speaking of wasting things, this is an awesome waste of money.

More details as requested for the Twin Lakes trip.
Depart Saturday August 13 sometime after I'm done work (5pm), the actual time usually depends on how well I prepared before hand, buying food and packing.
Camp out at the lake itself or at the farm if there's no available spots.
Spend Sunday at the lake and head back for Sunday evening.
It's only an hour and bit drive, and it's a really nice lake for swimming too. If nothing else it's nice just to get out of the city for a day.
Costs: $12 (total for everyone) per night for the campground if we stay at the lake, free if we stay at the farm.
Whatever food/drink you want to bring
Chip in for gas.
So not much.
