In Alberta, it is officially known as Heritage Day. Nationally, it is a Civic Holiday. Not all provinces celebrate it, but those that don't have another holiday in lieu (for example, in Quebec, St. Jean Baptiste Day.)

If someone vandalized your property you wouldn't like it very much, so why go and vandalize something which isn't yours? Are you bored? Do you have nothing to do? Go volunteer for some community group, maybe helping people out will change your out look on life.
