I'd just like to say that Andrew Thompson is brilliant. Not like that fucking useless bastard Andrew Thompson.
This is interesting: Nanotechnology kills cancer cells. They get cancer cells to take up carbon nanotubules and then literally burn the cancer away. And, what's more, no grey goo is required.

Some of the good quotes about Soul Plane:
"A third of the way into Soul Plane, maybe earlier if you're in the right mood or with the wrong company, you might actually start to enjoy disliking the movie." "a lot wittier than the last two "Scary Movies" combined." "makes up for what it lacks in genuine humor by overdosing viewers with outrageous sexuality and outsize stereotypes." "when it works, laughs are generated."
Although, to be fair, some of the critics seem to be aspiring to be worse writers than those who made this movie:
"This one-joke comedy vehicle is flying through a laugh-free zone." "While this flight should have been permanently delayed due to extraordinarily offensive conditions, there are no signs instructing you to remain seated should you decide to discreetly exit before your tour of the unfriendly skies is over." "Let's make this simple: If you spend money on Soul Plane, you've been played."

yo taylor did you know there's a fairly new comic place that popped up on 124th? (kinda by Chu's restaraunt) and i believe they had a Comic Jam recently there. i can't remember the name, but Burwash says it's pretty cool - and the dude that did their window lettering i think tried to rip off the Listen lettering...or maybe that was another place on 124th... shrug
