Does it matter that the new Governor General is a dual citizen of France and Canada?

Some people seem to think it's grounds to revoke her appointment.

I don't know. I mean, it's entertaining (for me, anyway) to read new and current pieces from Rick Mercer, discussing issues that would make it into his infamous dock rants if he were on TV right now (on a side note, I guess his show is coming back this fall, but for me it falls short of his best stuff). On the other hand, the thought of him hunched over a keyboard typing stories about hanging out with Steven Fletcher (the quadriplegic Tory MP that pulled Rick Mercer through Parliament buildings on a scooter behind his wheelchair) into the Blogger post form kind of takes the magic out of the whole thing.

Well O'Reilly's cranky. Apparently he doesn't take kindly to being criticized. Who knew?

Anyway, dagger boys: keep august 20th open. I think we're supposed to play in Red Deer with TTH/TTH and the Last Deal that day. Apparently we have to BE THERE by like 5:00. So that means we need to leave by like 3:30 at the latest.

Hopefully Clark isn't working that saturday. I don't know how I can get ahold of him while he's at camp.

Agility beats firepower

Well it was good run, looks like 8 th place is going to be it.

I am most certianly not impressed with this DREAD weapon system. A first gen Grand Arms could easily defeat this pitiful sytem. 50 cal at 8000 fps? Bah! It wouldn't even scratch the paint job.

GeekFesters: I really just realized that I'll be missing out on two consecutive Fridays -- I'm in Nashville this week, and my MRI is on the 19th (7:30 PM). And I don't know how long that whole thing is going to take. If it does take forever, do you think we could play -- possibly even for a supplementary fest -- on Saturday night or even any time on Sunday?

By the by, it's hard to do an audioblog when you don't like the sound of your own voice - ha ha.
