And I quote "Apple reserves the right to refuse service on products that have serial numbers altered, defaced or removed or that are damaged due to accident, abuse, neglect, misuse ... extreme physical or electrical stress or interference, fluctuation or surges of electrical power, lightning, static electricity, fire, acts of God or other external causes."
Heh, why is that really necessary?? Talk about covering their asses.

Hey Par, I got the Asus TV FM Card 7135, which I hear is alright, but is not compatible with Windows Media Center. However, there are many other programs that work with it, and I'm hoping someday I can get MythTV to work with it.
But if you want the cream of crop in Video Capture, you want to buy something by Hauppauge. Their cards are compatible with everything, and they have built in mpeg 2 encoders on the card, so your CPU wont feel a thing.

Because Tony asked, and because I'm using any excuse not to write my report, Arrested Development's season premiere is, according to Omniscience Incarnate (a.k.a. Wikipedia), September 19th.
Also, for the curious, Family Guy and American Dad resume September 11th. Veronica Mars' season premiere September 28th. 24 is back some time in January.
Pete, let me know how that TV Tuner card works out for you. I think I might just pick one up. I wouldn't want to have to leave my room just to watch hockey.
While I'm at the TV thing, someone put up an old ep of Conan on bit torrent featuring a much younger Jon Stewart, Bill Murray talking about Rushmore, and The Boss giving Max Weinberg a send-off before the two head off on tour together.
