The long story short: Black Dot is Dead. for over 7 years the duo of Liv & I have been putting on shows in the Edmonton area - and now we are putting the Black Dot name to bed. Come celebrate, share memories, and dance like you've never danced before. On wheels, even. This isn't the end of our promoting lives, but it's the end of Black Dot.

ohhh shit, what an amazing show tonight. All the bands were fuckin amazing. It blows my mind when I see a show where at least 3 of the bands are absolutely incredible and I think to myself "but wait, this is EDMONTON!". Where the hell are these kids coming from? And who's working behind the scenes to make all these bands soooo damn good? I want to know who's responsible for this!

Plus I'm really pretty happy that my new band's performance tonight was pretty much the exact polar opposite of how shitty we played last week. I don't like to gloat, but I can't help but think that we fuckin' SLAYED. Now if only we can do that for the Black Dice show we're set. Just so long as it's not a complete disaster like it was last week and I think we'll be okay.
