Sheeeeyit. Check out this 12-year-old playing a drum solo. How the fuck is it possible to be that good at something at age 12???

Saw Hank Wang today and after talking with him he put everything into perspective. My dad knows squat about getting a engineering job. Period. Hank is still looking for a job and so are about half our graduating class. You just have to keep on trying otherwise you'll never get it. I guess that what life is, a struggle. Nothing comes easy. So I WILL get a engineering job, it isn't a matter of if it is a matter of when.

For anyone who hasn't yet heard, Keri's birthday is on Sunday.
Sunday is kind of a shitty day to do stuff, especially at night.
Therefore we are celebrating it tonight.
Meet at BP's on Calgary Trail at approx. 8 o'clock for some good... er... company? celebration? food? conversation? any of those.

Hope to see you all there.

I don't think people combine D&D, Mystery Science Theatre 3000 and Jack Chick nearly often enough.

Don't despair Al, be your own rock, faith in yourself is only worthwhile when it comes from within. Your parents mean well, but they seem confused. You didn't go through the trials for an engineering future only to have it dashed by the misplaced words of your father at the finish line. Try to forgive them later, but for now your resolve is the only weapon.

Hey Guys,

This is just a reminder that the Sleeping Bag Drive-In at the U is on tonight, it will be in SUB Stage, so come on out and enjoy the movies. We're showing Big Fish and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. I know you've been before, so come again, it's going to be fun.

Al, that's some shitty news. But you just gotta use this as incentive to prove them wrong. I know what it's like when your parents don't think you'll amount to anything... it's pretty fucking devastating. I mean, if your own parents have no faith in you, what the hell do you have left? My parents openly disaproved of my dreams to be an artist, musician or something along those lines from pretty much day one, but at this point I've said "to hell with them, I'm doing it anyway". I mean, they don't hate me... but to a large extent I'm mostly a failure to them.

So it goes I guess.

How the hell does Dennis Leary go from the hilarity of the proby & shawn testicular lump sequence to that?!?
