After actually reading my transcript carefully and calculating my mark I actually passed with a 5.6 on the 9 point scale. Yeehaw! I thought I passed with just the skin of my teeth! I actually did better then I thought. Disturbingly at the end of the transcript it says I'm branch standing 134 of 135. What does this mean? Am I the second guy from the bottom of the totem pole? If many people have the same mark does the person with the the last name near the end of the alphabet get the lowest ranking automatically? Man this sucks. Class wise I am the second last person in alphabetical order, so I don't know.

Hey, maybe we'll get to see a Smyth vs. Smith tonight.
If I've mentioned a Hockey pool to you, (or you are interested in one)... its going to be $2-$5 dollars and we'll get together in early Oct. to pick teams. Lemmie know if you are interested, my friend (Rich) is hoping for names and emails of people that would like to be in the pool.

Databasing 2 weeks worth of results when you're tired just gives you a headache...

Yup. I said "the HUB mall LRT" which really means what you said. Just at the entrance to the LRT station near the South end of HUB mall.
In any event, Peca scored and assisted less than Smyth did during the last season... so I guess I shouldn't complain. My conclusion... Kevin Lowe has a better idea of how to run a team than I do... and Ryan Smyth is a good guy for taking less pay than what he is worth.

Hey, ed, I assume we're meeting at the south entrance to HUB, next to bus station, correct?

A little overpaid by Oilers standards is a good way of putting it. But then with this new CBA... it seems standards are changing.

Maybe a little overpaid by oilers standards.
Considering his resume though as a leader, assistant captain, Team Canada, etc.
Plus the fact that he's been here so long instead of bailing to another team for a higher salary I'd say he's worth it.
I would consider him and integral oiler. I'd be sad to see him go.

3.5 million / year?
I don't think that's too overpaid for Smitty...
