It's not getting much play here, but for the curious, here's a look at the current Paris suburb riots, courtesy Wikipedia.

If anyone is looking for work, even for a little while. I know that we need people desperatly at the Science shop. If you can deal with selling anithing from a 25 cent mini dice to a $500 telescope with anything in between. It is not too much work, but you will be busy. So, if anyone has any free time and wants to make some christmas money. Any time you can work would work, but we really need people during the day. If anyone is interested, post here, or call me, or stop by the science shop and say you are a friend of mine. thats about all you need to do if you want the job. ciao

Sounds like Harper is being fairly critical of the whole system… which is a fairly Harper thing to do. I don’t know if I would call him a genius though, since quite a few other people have figured out the system isn’t the greatest.

I once read a story about some orphan girl who was raped as a teenager and had a baby which she gave up for adoption. She was so pissed off about the rape that she ended up having a futuristic sex-change so she wouldn't be preyed upon as a woman anymore. Anyway, to make a long story short she/he went back in time to the moment when she was raped as a teenager to murded the guy who raped her. But when she got there she found herself as a teenager alone and the guy never shows up. Totally confused, she rapes herself instead (I forget the reasoning behind this action). Anyway, she ends up impregnating her teenage-self who has a kid which she puts up for adoption. That kid grows up as an orphan who gets raped as a teenager and has a sex change and goes back in time to murder the guy who raped her... only he never shows up... so she/he rapes herself...

fuckin twisted.

Did you ever have a dream were you "cloned" yourself thru time travel? Let's say a future version of myself, we'll call him Future Albert of FA for short went back in time to our present. Now Present Albert we'll call him PA for short and FA exist at the same time essentially you have 2 Alberts. Now let's say that FA goes back to the future after a hour in our time, he arrives 1 second after he left for out time. He then waits for 10 seconds and travels back in time to a second before he originally came back to our time. Now you essentially have 3 Alberts, PA, FA and FA2. Continue the process and eventually you'll have multiple Alberts. Now at this point in the dream they formed some sort of Army and went on a killing rampage which is fine by me but this brings up a question. If PA is killed then all the FAs will die. Consequently if FA(n) is killed then only FA(n+1), FA(n+2), FA(n+3)... FA(n+m) are then killed. So why when I was dreaming did it seem like such a good idea?
