hey eric... I dunno if this is a sign of good things for your twister night or not, but if you look up "hipster kids" on google, the first hit is some bullshit story, but the second hit is actually a photoblog of kids in Edmonton... many of whom I know. Weird.

Let's get some good old fashioned feedback shall we?? I wrote my bio 208 lab final last night. The test was two hours long. About an hour and fifteen minutes in, the fire alarm goes off. The building had to be evacuated. While outside some people (I don't know who) were yacking about the test and the answers etc. So upon coming back in, the entire test was halted. It was handed in as is. Just what is to be done that is fair to everybody?? It gets more fun though when you consider that I was I think the second or third person to hand in the exam and did so right before the alarm went off. I want it to count fully. That's not fair to the other 115 or so people writing the exam. If we write a new one, the slackers know what to study. If we count it as is, the slower people get shafted. I can't think of a solution that's fair to everyone. Keep in mind that rewriting the test would be a nigh impossible logistical nightmare because everyone has to write at the same time. They're getting together tommorow morning to discuss options. I think I might get the shaft as the teeny minority who wants it to count fully...

wtf??? read this:

RCMP Warning - Constable Cameron Alexis with the RCMP at Enoch has confirmed
that it is real. This came directly from our Driver Training People who got
the warning. Pass this to anyone you can.

One of the officers who works with the DARE program has passed along the
following warning and asked that it be shared with all drivers. This is an
extremely serious matter.

If you are driving after dark and you see a car without its head-lights on
do not flash your lights, do not blow your horn or make any signals to the
driver of the other car. There is a new common gang initiation 'game' going on
the streets. The new member being initiated drives along without his headlights
on until someone notices and flashes their headlights or makes some sort of
other action to signal him. The gang member is now required to chase the car
and shoot at or into the car in order to complete his initiation requirements.

Make sure you share this information with your family, friends, and anyone
else you can reach. If you have any questions or information, please call your
local police department. Please take this seriously. This is not a joke.
Please pass this on to everyone you know on e-mail and in person. It could
save someone's life.

Constable Alexis says "this has been going on for awhile, it is best not to
engage, members of the general public should telephone the police immediately,
take the descriptors of the vehicle in question, a licenses plate if possible,
they should not try to confront these possible gang members."
