Meh... Alright I'll stir shit up. I want a change of scene and since my tuesdays are no longer devoted to applying for jobs, and since I haven't seen the dagger boys in such a long time I'm going to Hipster Twister tomorrow! You can expect alot of alterior motives from me... mainly car and internet things... And no pictures, I'm not really photogenic and I want people to still go to Hipster Twister. I'm sure my mug posted all over the internet will turn people off.

so, i'm ticked off.
I have warts. big deal. I cover them up whenever they're likely to possibly cause a problem (they're on my foot), and well, whatever, I'm dealing with them such that they won't infect other people and that they'll go away eventually.
The problem (and why I'm pissed off) is this:
I got referred to a specialist (dermatologist) by my gp to have the damned things removed sooner rather than later. So, I go to the dermatologist's office today, with it's requisite 1/2 hour wait beyond the scheduled appointment time, and I sit in the office and get met by the nurse who essentially deals with my warts the same way my gp was before I got referred. And I didn't ask to be referred, she (the gp) did it so that I could have the damned things removed. I don't get it.
oh, and they spent just as much time dealing with my warts as they did talking to me about my insurance coverage. Does anyone know, are visits to a gp covered differently than visits to a specialist even if they're giving the same treatment? I know I'm going to pay big for this, and it pisses me off, because I actually got better care from my gp. for the same thing. Plus, at the end of the visit, I asked the nurse why she wasn't just removing them, and she told me they don't cut warts out any more. so what was the point of this? just a lovely gigantic doctor's bill that may or may not be covered by blue cross. fuck.
