Vampire Slayer Act of 2006 Approved by California Assembly -- The idea, to force electronics makers to tell consumers how much power devices use while on standby, seems like a good one. The name of the act just makes things all the more interesting. I can't wait for the "Terminator signs Vampire Slayer Act into Law" headline. I can add it to my ever growing list of things that, had I told people would happen five years ago, would have gotten me punched in the face.
