Worst discussion topic ever... Only because it's starting to go downhill. But whatever I'm bored at work so knock yourself out guys.

I think we should all just go to her house and fuck her brains out when pronger's "out on the town". In the span of ONE NIGHT, I vow to help her get even for his YEARS of infidelity.

I agree with eric on this one. If infidelity is the issue, Pronger's wife should have expected to deal with such problems in advance. Isn't she in the best position to learn whether or not Pronger is the faithful sort?

sorry it was a joke. not a good one at that i'll admit
but seriously though, let's be realistic - how often do we really think professional sports players cheat? i'd say always, because they can. that doesn't make it right, i know, but it seems like a pedestrian reason to want to leave this city.

Um Alison give Eric a little brake (just a teeny, itsy bitsy, one). He is extremly hungover after saturday. 8 hours is definitly not enough time to sober that up.

I think the URL says it all: ExtremeHammock.com

Now that's an Extreme Sport I can get behind.

okay, i'm not going to let that slide. "if she was a decent wife she'd understand"??? I don't think so.

if she was a decent wife, she'd understand what exactly?
she'd understand that there's no way he could be happy with just her?
she'd understand that the life of a hockey player is difficult and therefore philandering is not only unavoidable but almost expected of him at home and/or away?
she'd understand that fidelity to one's family is less important than to one's team?

what exactly would she understand?

are you suggesting that it's her fault he's possibly cheating on her? is that what's wrong? she wasn't a decent enough wife to prevent him from sneaking off with some hockey-obsessed edmonton fan?

if there's something wrong with the marriage, moving to another city is not going to change anything. it may get rid of the girl temporarily (except on away games), but whatever problem is there will still be with them no matter what city they move to (and so will any number of other girls). maybe i could understand a one-night-stand, 'cause those things have the possibility of happening ... when one is a celebrity in a city that worships you... but any sort of prolonged, um, relationship, suggests that something else isn't working right. you either are or aren't faithful to your spouse, and that's an entirely different problem from not liking the city you're living in. A change of location is not going to fix it.

perhaps not being a "shit-tard hockey player" (i like that, Taylor, perfectly suitable) would fix it. the Oilers constantly talk about the importance of family, how family is what makes or breaks it (if things aren't working at home, they're not working on the ice either), but if you're breaking your family apart, who can you blame but you? it sure as hell isn't the city's fault, and moving's not going to solve a damn thing. but staying likely won't either. what i see as a problem is that they're most likely not to be headed back to St Louis, even if it is her home town and she'd have a lot more arsenal to deal with any future betrayal. if it truly is about an affair. moving will just be a band-aid solution, because no matter where you go, even if it is back home, there's no guarantee the infidelity will stop. and if you're not going back home, you're going somewhere else that's new, and will be incredibly difficult to adjust to, all over again, and you could end up having to contend with some other new competition... changing locations, changing faces, that's all...

and Lowe essentially said if he 'has' to trade Pronger, he's going to try to get the most he possibly can for him, so the trade isn't going to be somewhere no. 44 will likely want to go... but then again, what do I know? and maybe this isn't the actual scenario anyway...

hahaha, Prong-Her
whatevs, as though Chris wouldn't just prong some other bitch in some other city - and as though they don't do that shit when they're out on the road. If she was a decent wife she'd UNDERSTAND. plus fuck her if she's not a die hard Oilers Fan
