Paras - I could login without the remember me click. Thought you might want to know
Albert - I'd join you but I'm going to Calgary to see my Gramma (she always whines about how the younger people go off to BBQs and she always spends Canada Day alone).

Dan's skipping town, so he's gotta leave the band.
Hey, isn't that tree-background in the Our Mercury picture from the back wall at Halo? I think it is...

Okay here are my lame ass plans for Canada day tomorrow. Well I really want to see the fireworks and they start at 11:00 PM. So we can meet up at the University at say 10:30 PM or so, decide where we want to see the fireworks from and then go there. The University would probally be a good place to meet as the roads aren't closed around that area, yet it is central enough that we could walk to all the good locations to see the fireworks. We could also take the LRT from here and go to the Legislature to see them. You will notice that there is a large gap of time before the fireworks start so we could even hang out at a a bar or something and then head down to see the fireworks. Well I put it on the table now it is time for you guys to follow through...
So I guess this means I'll be staring up at the sky alone tomorrow.

oh, and Souljah Fyah is playing the WORKS tonight at Churchill Square 7:30 to 8:15, and then 8:45 to 9:30.
I'll be there for the 2nd set for sure, if not the first. It's all free, and if anyone else is interested in some art, live reggae and fun, you're welcome to join. I'm going down with some friends from the lab, but the more the merrier.

I found it, Tony. The song in the Adidas ad is "Eanie Meany" by Jim Noir. I think, for me, it's this World Cup's A Little Less Conversation.
EDIT: You can download it here (and, if the RIAA or CRIA are listening, you can do so at your own risk.)

For the curious here, and the assorted googlesters who appear to be so interested, Pronger's supposed to be holding a news conference Tuesday to discuss the issue. Mayhaps we'll have a cessation on wild rumours and speculation until then?

By this time tomorrow you can buy things with 1% less tax. Therefore you can consume more for less. Or in theory that's how it works.
