- for those of you curious:
the George Bushes
they're sort-of folk/bluegrass in my opinion.
upright bass, banjo, guitar, drums, apparently mandolin live,
and wonderful vocal harmonies
plus they're such an energetic group
from Edmonton too, I do believe

- okay... so I may be over exaggerating, but my interview went from 11 (actually quarter to 11) to at least 1, if not later. I checked the time in the ECSA office at 1:30, after buying lunch. I am so tired. A 2 hour meeting, and I've got another one of these later. So tired.
Geneva gave me two binders full of information to read... and there's more to come. I have a feeling my May is going to be chock full of reading. woo hoo!
So... anything going on tonight? I hope Chili's was fun yesterday. I ended up at the Sidetrack and listened to Bob Cook and the Unheardof and the George Bushes. The George Bushes are awesome. And I danced and hung out with people that I may never ever ever see again. And I saw a pregnant friend from highschool too. It was a wonderful evening. So... tonight? anything? maybe I'll just sleep, maybe go for a movie. they're playing something at the Metro that's supposed to be environmentally insipiring and about Tooker Gomberg. Or perhaps I'll go to the Garneau and finally see the corporation... I was the only one at the Sidetrack (literally, they polled the audience) who hadn't seen it yet.
Okay, cheers! Congratulations everyone on being done, doesn't it feel great? I just wish I had a break. oh well. director should be good...
salut!

- it's called karma. about an hour ago i was feelin' the shit, coming home from a night out chillin' to (instead of studying) piss my time by uploading some new shit on my iPod (American Analog Set and Blue Note's Untinted, a collection of Jazz tracks featured on Madlib's Shades of Blue to be exact)... it was down to a fuckin' science..i would have mere megs left to spare on my pod. but, shit crashed on the final transfer, and i spent the better part of an hour "rebuilding" my pod (which did shit all)...but it gave me a chance to actually get down to some studying too. anyways, when everything went back online I lost all of my Playlists. fuck. oh well... them's the breaks. i should stop being such an ass, and actually put in some effort into my studies anyways.
there you go Adrian, this is the level of Consequence my life runs on...petty.
