hmmm... I just noticed that my current fixation with neon pink has crept up in the vast majority of those little 15-min sketch things I just posted. I wasn't actually aware of that until now. I guess the moral of this story is: never underestimate the subconscious; it's one sneaky mother fucker.

Is it wrong of me to watch the video of that american being beheaded in Iraq? I kind of want to watch it so that I can see it and understand the horror of it. But on the other hand, the victim's father made a statement that he hoped it wouldn't have been spread publicly... so is it unethical to watch it against his father's wishes? Or is it unethical to watch it simply because it's degrading to him as an individual as well as degrading to humanity as a whole? I'm torn. I don't know if I should watch it. And then there's just the morbid curiousity factor... I'm curious to see it, but at the same time afraid of watching it.

Basically, I'm asking you: does it make me any worse of an individual one way or the other? I can't decide...

Ali, that movie Elephant is old news... they were playing it at the Garneau like a year ago. Fuck, get with the times. Everybody already knows it's supposed to be good. Shit, it's so old we may as well call it a 'classic' now too!

haha, j/k man. I do really wanna see that movie. But seriously, it really did play at the Garneau a long time ago. I wanted to see it then (when it first came out), but I never did get the chance. Another movie on my list of must-sees at the moment is Lost In Translation. Shit, I'm getting so far behind in my viewing. It's pathetic.
